This is the first shot a creating a glass Chumby case/sculpture of sorts. You can find out more about Chumby here.
Many thanks to Lance over at FlameTree for helping me work on the project. It was great to think abou the process of creating the glass forms and how to do it better next time.
Right now there are three glass components. The first holds the monitor, the second the speaker component, and the last is a makeshift base. I used armature wire and rubber bands to get all the pieces in relation to one another.
The more I looked at it the more I thought that I didn’t like the bezel of the monitor and the speaker setup. To me it looks to forced, so I’m back to the design drawing board.
